The Holly Hill Youth Center

Youth Crime and Violence is a problem in may cities in America. Some cities deal with it through Law Enforcement, others don't deal with it at all. In Holly Hill, besides having one of the best Law Enforcement agencies in the county, we deal with it by giving our youth something else to do. The Boy's and Girl's Club, (part of the national organization) is an after school place to go for the children in our community.

Holly Hill Youth Center

The Holly Hill Youth Center started life as a cafeteria for the old Holly Hill Elementary School. When the county school board closed the school in the early 1980's, the school buildings started to quickly to deteriorate.
A group of dedicated volunteers with the help of many Holly Hill businesses rebuilt the old cafeteria into the Youth Center.
The volunteers included many local youth, parents, grandparents, and other residents.
Councilman Byrnes, His wife Vikki, and son AJ, spent many months helping the volunteers with cleaning, painting, and laying floor tile.
